Tammy Howell

Tammy, RYT 200 holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Management and Information Systems. She was active with extra circulars such as, fast pitch softball and volleyball all of her life. Soon after college, she found herself sitting at a desk, opposite of her normal routine. After moving to Texas she had a beautiful daughter who helped increased her activity again. Yoga was introduced to Tammy by her dear friend she met in Plano, TX. She was intrigued by yoga because of her friends’ dedication to it. Tammy soon realized she could move better and manage stress more easily when practicing yoga. After a year of practice, she decided to learn more about yoga and committed to a 200-hour teacher training course with Toni Farris at Yoga Tree Plano. This training gave her a deeper understanding of yoga and now she enjoys teaching all levels of yoga. Tammy shares her experiences with yoga and teaches students how to take an hour for the health of their mind and body.

Nicki Brace

nicki braceNicki Brace, RYT200 I began practicing yoga in 1998 and started teaching in 2003. It was a natural fit as I was a group fitness instructor and dance teacher. I fell in love with Vinyasa Yoga, it was as if I was dancing on my mat! I was able to continue the creative outlet once I started teaching. I currently teach at the YMCA, Whiterock and The Magdalen House, a women's detox center. I believe the Yoga works, wherever you come from and for your ever-changing body and life. We all need comfort and contentment.
